The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees are hosting their Super Insurance Symposium this October 17th at The Events Centre in Melbourne. The ‘Protect Your Super’ measures that came to fruition on July 1st have the super industry anticipating having to deal with the next round of legislative changes. These changes will get rid of opt-out insurance for all members with a balance under $6,000 and new members under 25. This symposium will ensure delegates come away understanding the new legislative developments along with the current challenges facing funds.
