Advances in Asset Allocation (New York) 13-15 July 2016

This seminar has been jointly organised by EDHEC-Risk Institute and CFA Institute. It will take place over 3-days in New York City. The organisers seek to train investment management professionals in better risk management and asset allocation processes, new approaches to investment management and product development. Key themes to be examined include: portfolio theory and the practice of portfolio construction; how to design optimal allocation strategies for investors; how to account for accounting, regulatory, and other short-term constraints, which require implementing risk insurance, as well as risk hedging and risk diversification. The seminar will be presented by Professor Lionel Martellini in a highly accessible manner. Professor Martellini combines industry experience and academic expertise.
