The Euromoney Jordan conference, entitled "Finance for an Invigorated Economy," is co-hosted by the Ministry of Finance and will be held under the patronage of H. M. King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein. Conference delegates will examine the recent developments in the economy of Jordan in light of global macroeconomics. They will discuss the role of the financial sector to the economic future of the nation. A keynote address will be given by Omar Malhas, the Minister of Finance. Other topics to be addressed include the positive effects of international support and lower energy process, the dependence on foreign aid, unemployment, and how the financial sector can contribute to stability and growth.
