There are few conferences which focus only on target-date funds (TDF) or TDF strategies. The Custom Target-Date Strategies Summit takes place in Chicago and New York this September. The focused meetings run from 8am-10am, with a networking breakfast to commence, followed by a presentation on ‘Addressing the Shortcomings of Traditional Target-Date Funds’ and a concluding interactive discussion on the topic of ‘Evolving Target-Date Funds through Underlying Investment Changes’. The expert-led sessions will further consider fiduciary and operational concerns that may develop, hiring, trends in CTD asset allocation and participant experience.
