Catalyst Cap Intro events are one-day conferences designed for both investors and investment managers. Both parties are provided with comprehensive networking opportunities and presented to each other with a view to become investment partners. This year’s event will focus specifically on the L/S Equity and Event Driven alternative investing sector, creating a specialized forum where investors and managers can meet with first-rate professionals in this specific sector. Whilst investment managers are drawn to the event for the in-depth private meetings with active investors and competitive fees, investors are offered complimentary attendance and the opportunity to meet with the investment managers of their choice in a time-efficient setting, with no minimum set of necessary meetings. Investors and managers are hand-picked: investors are pre-screened and selected prior to the event, and only managers who acquire sufficient preceding interest will participate in the conference. The manager with the highest investor feedback will also be highlighted at the event through a ‘Catalyst Cap Intro Award’, which will be officially listed on Catalyst’s website.
