The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans are hosting the New Trustees Institute - Level 1: Core Concepts event from February 10th-12th at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club in Orlando, Florida. The event is targeted at those who have served as trustees on ERISA-covered plans for less than two years, or who have not attended an International Foundation educational program previously. The course is the first step in learning best practices, with the agenda being split into 5 key areas: Trustee Responsibility and Legal Environment, Governance, Investing Health and Welfare and Pension Assets, Overview of Retirement Plans, and Overview of Health and Welfare Plans.
