The World Bank are hosting their Workshop on Advanced Techniques in Portfolio Management this November 4th-8th in Washington, DC. This workshop aims to provide attendees with the necessary tools to implement an active management strategy using, futures, repos and high-grade fixed income bonds. At first there will be formal presentations for instruction purposes, followed by delegates getting into teams to implement investment strategies within a given risk budget. Topics of discussion at the workshop will include: active management, trading discipline, risk management and more.
