South West Councils are hosting their 2019 Pensions Administration Course this October 28th-30th in Torquay, Devon. The course is for County Council staff who deal with pension matters, and District Council staff who liaise with the County Council Administering Authority. It is also for pension staff from other public bodies. Delegates will come away with knowledge of Local Government Scheme administration and, by using practical examples, the calculation method of scheme benefits. The agenda will also take a look at the development of the Local Government Pension Scheme and the role of central government within this development.
