As Asian nations strive to address social and environmental problems despite reducing government financial aid, many view the opportunities presented by private sector financing and impact investing as a potential way to solve global issues such as poverty and climate change. Alongside this, demand is increasing among Asian high net worth personnel, donors and investors to utilise their investment funds to respond to issues from climate change to the lack of provision of healthcare and education – whilst also benefiting financially.
