The 2nd Annual NYSSA GIPS Forum addresses performance and risk analytics with respect to the Global Investment Performance standards, the series of industry-spanning standardized ethical principles providing guidance to investment management firms on calculating and reporting upon investment performance for prospective clients. Although compliance is not yet mandated by regulations, GIPS has become a crucial marketing ingredient which has helped over 1200 firms gain and maintain key institutional clients. At this event, GIPS experts and members of the CFA Institute will discuss recent developments in the standards and share views on the opportunities they offer.
