The 2017 Innovating Economies summit, hosted by The Economist, focuses on the themes of how health care and economic innovation can be driven to improve Africa's future. As Africa has experienced above-average growth over the past decade, the current uncertain period is potentially problematic, although African economies yet have ample time to innovate. With African nations needing to diversify their economic growth and step away from reliance on natural resources, new ideas, methods and products are needed more than ever to produce a robust economic diversity.
