Changing your time zone

If you visit your log-in details on your user profile you may change your time zone. This will change the timings reported for activity on the site.

Locked out of your user profile

If you enter your password incorrectly five times, you will be locked out of the site. To get back in, click "forgot password", generating an email verification to reset your password. Otherwise, you need to wait six hours to try your password again.

Linking to your existing articles and papers

Someone in your company is likely to have written an article or paper of interest to the community. This content may be available on your website or in PDF format. You can leverage this work many times over by simply writing a short commentary and posting a link to your paper or web-page.

How do I list a banner?

Our sidebar banners typically receive around 10,000-15,000 impressions per month. If you are interested in advertising on the site, please contact business@savvyinvestor.net. Banner advertising is best suited to brand awareness and costs $700 per month. We only allow advertising aimed at institutional investors.

The sidebar banners displayed on topic pages are those which have been purchased for that topic category. In addition, banners are displayed throughout the site, tailored to the interests of the user and based on the topics which the user follows. (Please note that banners assigned to parent topics e.g. "alternative investments" will appear less frequently on personalized pages, as parent topics are only deemed to be "followed" if the user follows all of the underlying sub-topics).

What types of banners may be displayed?

Banners must relate to the professional activities of members, be B2B not B2C, help maintain the look and feel of the site and not be unreasonably distracting.  Banners which are considered not to meet these requirements will be removed.
