2020 was a testing year for asset owners. The spread of Covid-19 has caused economies to crater, forcing governments to conduct massive bouts of QE and central banks to slash interest rates to rock bottom levels. At the same time geopolitical and trade tensions still abound, the future of which under a more pro-globalisation Biden administration is still uncertain.
